Woman injured in FPV drone attack in Donetsk as other strikes continue

A 56-year-old woman was injured in an FPV drone attack on Oleksiyevo-Druzhkivka village in Donetsk. This comes as the IAEA dispatches inspectors to Chornobyl after a drone strike, and increased fiber-optic drone attacks are reported near Dobropillia.

A 56-year-old woman sustained blast trauma and shrapnel wounds following an FPV drone attack by Russian forces on Oleksiyevo-Druzhkivka village in Ukraine's Donetsk region on June 7. This incident adds to a series of Russian assaults reported across various regions. The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) is dispatching inspectors to the Chornobyl Exclusion Zone after a drone strike damaged the Central Spent Nuclear Fuel Storage facility, affecting its facade, windows, and doors. Separately, a spokesperson for the "Kara-Dag" brigade noted a significant increase in Russian fiber-optic drone attacks targeting logistics near Dobropillia in Donetsk. Other reported attacks on June 7 included an infrastructure object in Zaporizhzhia, strikes near a public transport stop in Balabyne, and two attacks on a mine in Dnipropetrovsk region that injured a mechanic and damaged the facility's life support systems.
