Russian forces strike Sloviansk, intensify assaults in Donetsk region

Russian forces conducted an aerial strike on Sloviansk in the Donetsk region on June 8, deploying three aerial bombs. The attack resulted in at least seven injuries, including a 17-year-old. An administrative building, a medical facility, and numerous residential structures sustained damage. Concurrently, Russian troops have intensified assaults in the Sloviansk direction. In the Lyman sector, daily small group assaults continue, utilizing infiltration tactics and a high volume of reconnaissance and attack drones. These efforts aim to deplete Ukrainian defenses and focus on Drobysheve to reach Sviatohirsk, thereby severing logistical routes to Sloviansk. Ukrainian forces also reported significant drone activity near Dobropillia, with Russian reconnaissance and attack drones hindering movements.
