Woman injured in Donetsk drone attack as frontline pressure continues

A 56-year-old woman sustained mine-blast trauma and shrapnel wounds on June 7 in Oleksiiovo-Druzhkivka, Donetsk region, following an FPV drone attack. This new incident occurs as Russian forces continue intensified assaults in the Slaviansk direction and employ daily small group and drone tactics in the Lyman sector, aiming to deplete Ukrainian defenses and disrupt logistics to Slaviansk via Drobysheve. Frontline communities remain severely impacted, with the population of Zhovta Krucha, Zaporizhzhia region, dwindling to approximately 15 residents due to persistent guided aerial bomb strikes reported since winter 2025-2026. Chaplyne, Dnipropetrovsk region, faces almost daily attacks by guided aerial bombs and FPV drones, prompting a mandatory 30-day evacuation order issued on May 18. Residents report widespread destruction and casualties in the village.
