Ukrainian military command confirmed 260 combat engagements across the front on June 8. The General Staff also stated that Russia sustained approximately 1,370 personnel losses, four tanks, five armored combat vehicles, 75 artillery systems, and four multiple rocket launchers over the preceding day. Separately, Russian forces conducted drone and missile strikes on Ukraine's Kharkiv region on the night of June 9, targeting Kharkiv city and Chuhuiv, resulting in at least three fatalities and seven injuries. Additionally, a Russian drone partially damaged a container reception building at the Central Spent Nuclear Fuel Storage facility within the Chornobyl Exclusion Zone on the night of June 7, with officials confirming no spent nuclear fuel was present and radiation levels remained normal.
