This incident follows earlier drone and missile strikes on the Kharkiv region on the night of June 9, which resulted in at least three fatalities and seven injuries in Kharkiv city and Chuhuiv. Separately, Ukraine's General Staff reported 260 combat engagements across the front on June 8. During this period, Russian forces reportedly launched three missiles, conducted 88 air strikes with 282 guided aerial bombs, deployed over 10,000 kamikaze drones, and carried out 3,725 shellings. The General Staff also stated that Russia sustained approximately 1,370 personnel losses, four tanks, five armored combat vehicles, and 75 artillery systems over the preceding day.
