Ukrainian military authorities reported 213 combat engagements on June 8, following 240 on June 7, with intense fighting in Pokrovsk and Huliaipole. Commander Syrskyi detailed significant territorial recaptures.

The Ukrainian General Staff reported 213 combat engagements across the front line on June 8, with 196 clashes recorded earlier in the day. Intense fighting persisted in the Pokrovsk and Huliaipole directions, experiencing 38 and 32 engagements respectively by evening, alongside two Russian missile strikes. This follows 240 combat clashes documented on June 7, when Russian forces conducted 86 air strikes, deployed 9,184 drones, and carried out 3,296 shelling incidents. Separately, Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi stated that Ukrainian forces have recaptured over 600 square kilometers of territory since the year began, including a net gain of nearly 100 square kilometers in May, and inflicted over one billion dollars in damages on Russian forces.
