Fighting continues in Ukraine with new daily engagements reported

Ukrainian military authorities reported 71 combat engagements across the front line as of the morning of June 7, with intense fighting continuing in the Huliaipole and Pokrovsk directions. This follows 223 clashes over the previous 24 hours, during which Russian forces reportedly lost 1,350 personnel, along with specific equipment including 6 tanks, 4 armored vehicles, 82 artillery systems, 7 multiple launch rocket systems, and 2 air defense systems. Separately, an overnight drone attack involving 236 uncrewed aerial vehicles, with 17 striking targets, was still underway in the morning, impacting 13 locations and causing debris to fall in 9. Civilian casualties in the Kherson region remained at 14 injured across 37 shelled settlements.
