On June 9, Kharkiv city experienced a significant drone attack, resulting in explosions in at least two districts and one reported injury. Earlier, on June 7, a Russian drone struck a police vehicle near Chystovodivka, Kharkiv region, killing an explosive ordnance disposal technician and injuring three other officers and one civilian. The same day, a drone partially damaged a container reception building at the Central Spent Nuclear Fuel Storage facility in the Chornobyl Exclusion Zone, though no spent fuel was present and radiation levels remained normal. An FPV drone also injured a 49-year-old woman in a civilian car near Radkove, Kharkiv region. On June 6, two civilians died and six were injured in Kramatorsk and Druzhkivka, Donetsk region, and an FPV drone hit a shuttle bus in Kushuhum, Zaporizhzhia region.
