A new incident in Kharkiv region saw a Russian drone strike a police service vehicle on June 7, killing an explosive ordnance disposal technician and injuring three other officers and one civilian. The police were responding to an unexploded drone near Chystovodivka in Izium district. This occurred amidst ongoing Russian attacks across several Ukrainian regions. Regarding the Chornobyl Exclusion Zone, a drone strike on June 7 partially damaged a container reception building at the Central Spent Nuclear Fuel Storage facility. Authorities confirmed that spent nuclear fuel was not stored in the damaged structure, and radiation levels remained normal. Attacks also continued in Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Chernihiv regions, resulting in further casualties and infrastructure damage.

Ukrainian Special Operations Forces (SOF) confirmed that the Semikolodezyansk oil depot, located approximately 200 kilometers from the front line in Yedy-Kuyu, occupied Crimea, was among the targets struck on the night of June 7. SOF units also hit an oil terminal in Feodosia. These attacks were previously reported by local social media and Ukrainian channels, with NASA FIRMS satellite data indicating a significant fire at the depot. Separately, Russian forces launched guided aerial bombs at the village of Balabyne in Ukraine's Zaporizhzhia region on June 7, striking near a public transport stop. The attack resulted in three fatalities and three injuries, according to the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration. Additionally, two men were injured in Russian drone attacks on Mykilske and Stepne in the Kherson region.
