Separately, in an interview, President Zelenskyy affirmed Ukraine's intention to continue striking targets within Russian territory, describing these actions as a necessary response. He also indicated a willingness to freeze the current front line to facilitate diplomatic negotiations. Furthermore, Zelenskyy confirmed a meeting with Russian businessman Roman Abramovich in Kyiv, where he conveyed a message intended for Russian President Vladimir Putin.
