Ukraine reports downing 124 drones, strikes Russian oil terminal and military post

Ukrainian air defenses reported intercepting 124 out of 155 Russian drones launched during the night of June 8, with approximately 20 impacting various locations. Ukrainian forces also struck a Russian oil terminal in Novorossiysk and a military post in Luhansk.

During the night of June 8, Russia launched 155 attack drones from five directions, targeting Ukraine. Ukrainian Air Force reported that 124 of these unmanned aerial vehicles were neutralized or shot down by air defenses across northern, southern, and eastern regions. Approximately 20 drones reportedly impacted 17 locations. On the same night, Ukraine's General Staff stated that operators from the 1st Separate Center of Unmanned Systems, in coordination with Special Operations Forces, struck the "Grushova" oil terminal in Novorossiysk, Russia, causing a fire. This facility is part of the "Sheskharis" complex. Additionally, on June 7, Ukrainian forces claimed to have destroyed a temporary Russian military deployment point in Shchastia, Luhansk, situated 100 kilometers from the front line.
