On June 4, Ukraine observed the impact of the ongoing conflict on children through separate events and reports. Authorities in the Kherson region stated that 47 children have died and 373 have been affected since the full-scale invasion began. The most impacted areas include the Kherson, Bilozerska, Chornobaivska, Novokakhovska, Velykooleksandrivska, and Beryslavska communities. Concurrently, Vinnytsia hosted a silent memorial event titled "Voices of Children" at Victory Square, near the site of a missile strike from July 14, 2022. Attendees placed toys, lamps, and angel-bells to commemorate the young lives lost due to the conflict.
