Russian forces continued their aerial assaults on Ukrainian territories, with significant strikes reported in the Kharkiv region and the Chornobyl Exclusion Zone. On the night of June 9, drone and missile attacks targeted Kharkiv city and Chuhuiv. Kharkiv experienced drone strikes in its Shevchenkivskyi and Kholodnohirskyi districts, resulting in at least one injury. In Chuhuiv, missile impacts led to the deaths of at least three people and injured six others, causing fires and damage to multiple residential buildings. Earlier, on June 7, a Russian drone partially damaged a container reception building at the Central Spent Nuclear Fuel Storage facility within the Chornobyl Exclusion Zone. Officials confirmed no spent nuclear fuel was present, and radiation levels remained normal.
