Russian forces strike Chernihiv and Sumy regions, damaging infrastructure and school

Russian forces conducted separate attacks on June 4, impacting infrastructure and civilian buildings in Ukraine's Chernihiv and Sumy regions. In the Snovsk community of Chernihiv, a railway in Snovsk and a house in Hvozdykivka village were damaged around 10:00 AM. An elderly woman sustained an eye injury from a fragment during this incident. Separately, a Russian drone strike destroyed a primary school and kindergarten in Poloshky village, Hlukhiv community, in the Sumy region. The educational facility was engulfed in flames following the impact. Local residents reported that children had been playing near the school just moments before the attack.
