Russian forces continued their attacks on Ukraine's Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, resulting in civilian casualties and widespread damage, with over 40 strikes on June 8 and further attacks on June 9.

Russian forces continued their attacks on Ukraine's Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, resulting in civilian casualties and widespread damage. On June 8, over 40 drone and artillery strikes targeted four districts, killing one civilian and injuring ten others. A strike on Nikopol claimed the life of a 49-year-old woman and wounded four individuals, with two women, aged 53 and 60, hospitalized in serious condition. These assaults damaged enterprises, fuel stations, residential properties, and vehicles.

Separately, on June 9, Russian forces used guided aerial bombs to attack the Vasylkivska community in Synelnykivshchyna, injuring seven people, three of whom were hospitalized, including a 47-year-old woman and a 66-year-old man in serious condition. This attack also damaged multi-story and private homes, as well as a local sports school.
