Russian drone attacks cause casualties and damage across Ukraine

Russian drone attacks between June 6 and 8 caused casualties and damaged infrastructure across several Ukrainian regions. A police officer was killed in Kharkiv, and a nuclear storage facility in Chornobyl was hit.

Russian drone attacks resulted in casualties and infrastructure damage across several Ukrainian regions between June 6 and 8. On June 7, a drone struck a police vehicle near Chystovodivka, Kharkiv region, killing an explosive ordnance disposal technician and injuring three other officers and one civilian. The same day, a drone partially damaged a container reception building at the Central Spent Nuclear Fuel Storage facility in the Chornobyl Exclusion Zone, though no spent fuel was present, and radiation levels remained normal. Earlier, on June 6, two civilians died in Kramatorsk and Druzhkivka, Donetsk region, with six others injured, and an FPV drone hit a shuttle bus in Kushuhum, Zaporizhzhia region. Most recently, a "Shahed" drone partially destroyed an Ukrposhta hub in Kharkiv on the night of June 8, with no casualties reported.
