Funerals for two military personnel scheduled in Ivano-Frankivsk region
Funerals for two Ukrainian military personnel, Oleksiy Kuyevda and Maryan Leheta, are set to take place in the Ivano-Frankivsk region on June 5 and 6, 2026, respectively. Leheta, missing for over 18 months, was confirmed to have died in September 2024.
Two Ukrainian military personnel, Oleksiy Kuyevda and Maryan Leheta, will be laid to rest in the Ivano-Frankivsk region in early June 2026. Oleksiy Kuyevda's funeral is scheduled for June 5, 2026, at the cemetery in Chukalivka village, within the Ivano-Frankivsk community. Maryan Leheta, a serviceman from the "Shkval" specialized assault company, will be honored in Rohatyn on June 6, 2026. Leheta had been reported missing for over eighteen months, with his death now confirmed to have occurred on September 22, 2024. The communal enterprise "City Ritual Service" shared details regarding Kuyevda's farewell.
