The EU's Cypriot presidency has begun preparations for Ukraine's accession cluster, while an oil terminal in St. Petersburg, Russia, was reportedly attacked by Ukrainian forces, resulting in a fire and four injuries.

The European Union's Cypriot presidency has commenced preparations for opening the first cluster related to Ukraine's EU accession process. Concurrently, reports from Russia indicate that Ukrainian Defense Forces conducted an attack on an oil terminal located in the port of St. Petersburg. Following the strike, thick black smoke and a fire were observed at the site. St. Petersburg Governor Alexander Beglov stated that the blaze has been extinguished and that four individuals sustained injuries as a result of the incident.
