Continued attacks in Sumy region and Crimea result in casualties and infrastructure damage

Military operations persisted across Ukraine, with significant activity reported in the Sumy region and occupied Crimea, leading to casualties, injuries, and infrastructure damage.

Military operations persisted across Ukraine, with significant activity reported in the Sumy region and occupied Crimea. On June 11, a Russian drone struck a residential building in Sumy's Znoob-Novhorodske community, killing a 67-year-old woman and injuring two children who required hospitalisation. Earlier that day, an attack on civilian infrastructure in Konotop led to widespread disruptions in electricity, water, and gas supplies. These events followed shelling across the Sumy region on June 10, which injured 15 individuals. Separately, a drone was intercepted above Sumy railway station on June 10; its falling debris caused a fire on a passenger train's roof, though all passengers were safely evacuated. Explosions were also reported on June 7 at the Semikolodyazianska oil depot near Kerch and a location in Feodosia in occupied Crimea, with Russia's Ministry of Defense claiming drone interceptions.
