Belarusian security forces have reportedly conducted over 40 searches in the past week, targeting individuals connected to the European Humanities University (EHU), including alumni, current students, and their relatives. The human rights project "Viasna" documented these actions. Among those visited were the families of students who continue their studies at EHU in Lithuania. Authorities allegedly issued an ultimatum to parents, demanding they inform their children to withdraw from the university within ten days. Failure to comply, according to reports, would result in the detention of their relatives remaining in Belarus.
